Philosophy

Our Kid’s Kollege preschool program is a ministry of the Weedville Wesleyan Church.  Our ministry seeks to prepare children for kindergarten in a Christian environment in which they will feel God’s love.

Knowing God’s love is the greatest thing anyone could know.  That message will be integrated through all of the activities that the children will participate in.

Our objectives will enable the children:

    -          To be aware that they are God’s children and are worthy of His love;

    -        To be prepared academically to enter Kindergarten;

    -          To feel comfortable in a setting that enables them to grow in self-confidence and be part of a group;

    -          To become confident in trying their own ideas, learning to solve problems and asking questions.

Policies

SNOW DAYS:

In the event of an unscheduled early dismissal, we will dismiss our students one hour prior to the St. Marys Area School District Elementary early dismissal time.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL:

The main door will be unlocked at 8:40 A.M.  Please do not arrive before this.  This time is used to set up for the day.

Always be sure to sign your child in each day with a phone number where you can be reached, in case of an emergency.

Please be prompt when picking your child up at the end of the day.  You will be greeted and given a rundown of your child’s day.  Always be sure to sign your child out each day.

You may pick up your child early.  Be sure to let the teacher and/or Director know.  Also, you must let the teacher and/or Director know if someone other than you is picking up your child.  A photo ID will be required, if we do not know the person.

Doors will be locked during school hours to ensure the safety of the children.  A buzzer will be located outside by the door for you to ring, should you come during these hours.
